Our client is a market leader within their industry, proudly operating across Australia and New Zealand as the largest supplier of specialty products to both business and consumer markets.

Due to growth, we are searching for a self-motivated Internal Sales Representative to join their team. The Internal Sales Representative is an integral role within the business and is responsible for:

• Promptly responding to and managing enquiries from existing and potential customers whilst actively driving sales and opportunities
• Proactively follow up on enquires and quotes ensuring a high level of conversion is achieved
• Work with customers to provide the appropriate solutions and products to meet their expectations
• Develop and manage professional long term relationships
• Assist with a high level of customer service
• Work with internal stakeholders to accurately control stock levels to ensure the satisfactory and timely delivery of products and services
• Constantly stay on top of technical / product knowledge
• Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue targets through the proper use of sales tools and the understanding of the sales process

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3 years sales experience in a similar role
• Understanding of steel and aluminum products highly regarded
• Ability to identify client needs and qualify opportunities
• Highly motivated self-starter, eager to learn and determined to adapt quickly
• Strong sales ability and results orientated
• Highly organised and proactive
• Strong computer skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong desire to succeed professionally
• Strong willingness to provide high quality customer service and positive results for clients
• A team player who enjoys collaborating and sharing knowledge
• A positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile
