The Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract for a Systems Accountant to lead the delivery and development of the organisation's finance system. Acting as Project Lead, you will oversee the Finance Systems Project while also serving as the financial Subject Matter Expert (SME) on related projects across the business. The role will involve close collaboration with the Finance Manager, CFO, IT and project teams, as well as external vendors and consultants.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the technical implementation, configuration and rollout of the new finance system.
• Acting as the escalation point for finance system issues and developing solutions for new requirements.
• Partnering with stakeholders across finance, IT and operations to ensure effective integration and adoption.
• Delivering training, documentation, and handover of system processes to business users.
• Driving change management and ensuring sustainable practices are in place post-project

Your Profile

You are an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial systems development and project delivery. With hands-on expertise in implementing or optimising ERP/finance systems, you combine technical understanding with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Your proactive approach, problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into system solutions will ensure the success of this key project.
