Fabrication Workshop Team Leader – North Brisbane

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fabrication Workshop Team Leader to join this North Brisbane team. You will lead a team of 10–15 staff on the day shift, coordinate workflow across second and third shifts, and ensure the workshop runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and support a team of up to 15 staff, including apprentices

Coordinate workflow across all shifts to meet deadlines and quoted hours

Ensure all fabrication work meets strict quality and safety standards

Manage communication and documentation using Microsoft Suite

Focus on efficiency and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Sheetmetal Worker or Boilermaker

Minimum 5 years’ stainless steel fabrication experience

Expertise in pressing/forming and rolling

Experience in mechanical fitting and assembly

Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills

Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing highly regarded

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; SAP experience a plus
