Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the skilled team at Gate Boss, a family-owned business known for high-quality trades and services in the Underwood region. We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Welder/Fabricator to help deliver outstanding results for our valued customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Performing fabrication and welding duties (MIG, TIG and other techniques) to specification

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and technical instructions

• Using hand and power tools to cut, shape and assemble aluminium and steel components

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace in line with WHS procedures

• Working collaboratively with the team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard

• Contributing ideas to improve fabrication processes and efficiency

What we’re looking for

• Trade qualification in Welding/Fabrication (or equivalent experience)

• Hands-on experience in a similar industrial, trade, or manufacturing environment

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG and other welding methods, with the ability to interpret technical drawings

• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport to our Underwood site
