About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Fabricator/Welder to join our boatbuilding team. You will be working with high-grade marine aluminium, fabricating and welding components to exacting standards for custom sailing vessels.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication and welding of aluminium structures for sailing boats

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans

Performing high-quality MIG/TIG welding (primarily on 5083 marine-grade aluminium)

Assisting in boat assembly and fit-out as required

Maintaining safe work practices and a clean workshop environment

About You

Proven experience in aluminium fabrication and welding (marine or structural preferred)

Strong MIG/TIG welding skills, especially on aluminium plate and extrusion

Ability to work from drawings with attention to detail and accuracy

Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and pride in craftsmanship

Trade qualification in fabrication/welding (highly regarded but not essential)
