The Role Partnering with the Head of Tax, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end corporate tax compliance across a complex group. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can hit the ground running, steady BAU, and lift the standard of deliverables and processes. You’ll work closely with finance, external advisors and the ATO to ensure accurate, timely lodgments and robust governance.

You will:

• Own income tax, FBT and GST compliance, lodgments and associated schedules
• Prepare/review tax effect accounting entries and support audit/review processes
• Coordinate data across multiple entities and resolve technical queries quickly
• Identify process improvements and documentation enhancements
• Liaise with external advisors and the ATO as required

About You

• CA/CPA (or equivalent) with a strong academic background
• Big 4 or large-corporate tax experience; ASX-listed client/group exposure highly regarded
• Proven ability to operate autonomously and manage competing deadlines
• Sharp technical judgement with clear, confident stakeholder communication
• Practical mindset—proactive, efficient, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
