The View Brisbane Hotel is seeking a casual Commis Chef to join our busy Restaurant and Banquet Kitchens.

To be successful in the role, it is essential that the successful candidate meets the following criteria:

A previous track record of working as a Chef in a busy and popular venue

Possess qualifications in commercial cookery

Be highly motivated

Have a passion for food

Have creative and innovative ideas of modern Australia's cuisine.

The ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and follow the instructions given by the Head chef.

Uniform provided.

You will need to have perfect presentation and grooming, have an excellent command of the English language both written and verbal as this role is hands on and requires you to think on your feet and work in a great team environment.

You will need to be committed to applying great customer service skills which will give you the opportunity to further your career in the hospitality industry.
