Vivo Cafe Morningside is on the lookout for an experienced Breakfast Chef with good skills in food preparation and production for our cafe in the suburb of Morningside.

We are looking for a friendly and committed team member that can work between 30 and 36 hours per week Wednesday to Sunday. Our casual and friendly cafe provides the best coffee in the area accompanied by great tasting food focusing mainly on the breakfast and brunch trade.

The successful applicant must have good cooking and food preparation skills, at least 2 years experience in running a kitchen and a willingness to work in the kitchen on their own. You will be working with a close, friendly and supportive cafe team and must not be afraid to jump in when needed to assist with the smooth running of other aspects of the cafe.

Assisting front of house staff and serving on the POS if needed would be part of your daily duties while coffee making experience would be a bonus.

Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate or willingness to obtain one is required.

Applicants must have full Australian work rights or valid working visa.
