My client is a successful accounting firm in Parramatta who is currently on the lookout for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their friendly team of professionals.

You will part of a 4 person Bookkeeping team whilst working alongside the Accounting/Tax team. This multifaceted role will also include the opportunity to work in a training capacity for clients in relation to Xero software and day-to-day management of their financials.

Reporting to a Partner, some of the main duties will include (but not be limited to):

Managing own client ledger

Payroll preparation, payment summaries and reconciliations

Accounts payable and receivable

BAS/IAS preparation, monthly and quarterly

Liaising with ASIC and ATO

Attending client meetings with Accountants as required

Managing junior bookkeepers

​​​​Requirements:

At least 3-5 years' experience in an accounting or bookkeeping firm

Certificate IV Bookkeeping and Accounting or equivalent

Experienced with payroll processing

Proficient with Xero software

Great communication and interpersonal skills

Efficient and strong attention to detail
