Eat Cannoli is Melbourne’s first dedicated gluten-free cannoli bar and café, proudly based in Preston. We’re known for our handmade sweets, punchy flavours, and a team that works hard, moves fast, and genuinely enjoys what we do.

We’re looking for an experienced cook to join our kitchen team—someone who’s confident behind the pans andcomfortable stepping out to engage with our customers when needed. This is a hands-on role in a small, high-energy team, so versatility and a positive attitude are key.

About the role:

Prepare and cook a variety of savoury and sweet items (consistently and to spec)

Follow set recipes, maintain quality and food safety standards

Manage prep, mise en place, and kitchen organisation

Step into customer service when needed—serving, chatting, and representing the brand with warmth

Work collaboratively with both kitchen and front-of-house team members

What we’re looking for:

Minimum 2 years experience working in a commercial kitchen

Solid food prep and cooking skills (café or bakery background preferred)

Comfortable engaging with customers when needed—friendly, confident, and helpful

Excellent time management, communication, and a cool head under pressure

A solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic—we can’t stress this enough

Bonus points if you:

Have experience working with gluten-free food

Can bake or assist with sweet prep

Bring a fun, down-to-earth vibe to the team
