About the role

Carpet Flooring Group is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our vibrant retail team in Castlemaine, Victoria. In this fulltime role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our customers throughout their flooring selection and purchasing journey.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering inquiries and guiding them through the product selection process

Demonstrating flooring samples and materials to help customers find the perfect solution for their needs

Processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately

Co-ordinating the customer purchase from initial enquiry, quoting, providing the product & warranty information, ordering stock, booking the installation date through to job completion.

Maintaining a well-presented and organised retail environment

Supporting the team with other administrative and retail tasks as required

What we're looking for

Previous customer service or retail experience, with a passion for providing exceptional customer care

Minimum 1-2 years of customer service or retail experience is required for this position

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers

Excellent product knowledge and the ability to confidently discuss flooring options

Comprehensive training will be provided to develop the required flooring product knowledge

Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

A friendly, approachable and helpful attitude

Position is Monday to Friday and Saturday morning.
