About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Import/Export Co-Ordinator to join the TGP Logistics Pty Ltd team in North Lakes, QLD. This full-time role will see you playing a key part in the seamless coordination of international freight and cargo forwarding activities for the business. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will leverage your expertise to optimize processes and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Core Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end import and export processes, including liaising with shipping lines, customs brokers, and other third-party providers

Prepare and process all necessary documentation, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists

Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders

Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the shipping process

Assist with inventory management and ensure accurate record-keeping

Contribute to the continuous improvement of freight forwarding procedures and policies

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar import/export or freight forwarding role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in using relevant freight management software and IT systems - CargoWise preferred

Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, incoterms and documentation requirements

Ability to work autonomously or part of a team in a fast paced environment.
