About the role

Carpet Court Dubbo is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Flooring Sales Representative to join our team. This full-time role will be based in Dubbo, NSW. As our Flooring Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in selecting the perfect flooring and window coverings solutions for their homes or businesses.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, guiding them through the product selection process

Demonstrating and explaining the features and benefits of various flooring and window covering products

Measuring and quoting for installations, ensuring accurate estimates

Maintaining a thorough understanding of the company's product range and current market trends

Actively identifying and following up on sales leads to drive revenue growth

Collaborating with the installation team to ensure a seamless customer experience

Contributing to the overall success of the store through excellent sales performance

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the home/building supplies or flooring industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers

Excellent product knowledge and the ability to provide informed recommendations

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to handle customer inquiries effectively

Enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to deliver outstanding customer service.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
