Employee Relations Manager

ANZUK Executive is proud to be partnering with The Catholic Education Dioceseof Bathurst (CEDB) in the search for their next Employee Relations Manager.

This pivotal role provides strategic and operational workplace relations advice across the network of schools and offices, supporting Principals, managers and staff in building positive, compliant, and engaged workplaces.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, Risk and WHS and accountable to the Executive Director of Schools, this role will:

• Provide expert guidance on employee and industrial relations, conduct and performance management, grievance resolution and workforce planning.
• Partner with Principals, leaders and managers to ensure compliance with legislation, Awards, and Agreements.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including unions, regulators and insurance providers.
• Support organisational and cultural change initiatives, embedding positive people management practices and enhancing HR policies and processes.
• Contribute to WHS compliance, risk management and reporting requirements.

About You
We are looking for a confident and proactive HR professional with:

• Formal qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations, industrial relations and complex HR advisory.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build collaborative partnerships.
• Sound knowledge of workplace legislation, Awards and Agreements.
• A commitment to the values and mission of Catholic education.
