Job description:
Looking for an exciting new challenge?
Yara are seeking applications for their permanent full-time role of HR Officer.
Reporting to the Recruitment Coordinator, the HR Officer supports the HR team, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, payroll processes, employee assistance and administration.
This position is responsible for the delivery of a high quality, flexible service, responsive to the needs of the organisation, and in line with legislative requirements and best practice.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Champion Yara's values of Curiosity, Accountability, Collaboration and Ambition
- End to end recruitment
- Manage employee relocations
- Employee on-boarding, orientation and off-boarding
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Occasional travel to site (Karratha), as required
- Employee Support - Respond to employee queries in a timely manner
- Employee benefits - tracking and approvals
- Support in HR audits and compliance checks.
- Support annual HR processes
- Support the monthly payroll process
- Assist with the employee housing process
- Support the arrival and departure process for International Assignees and immigration processes
- Support and coordinate company events and initiatives.
- HR projects and tasks as directed
- Manage the probationary review process
- Processing invoices and raising Purchase Orders in SAP
- Complete internal and external reports and audits
- Administrative tasks including file and document management
- Ad-hoc tasks as directed

Profile description:
- Certificate IV in Human Resource Management or similar
- Diploma in Human Resources is advantageous
- Bachelor's Degree in related field is desirable
- Minimum three to five years relevant experience in HR, ideally within the manufacturing or resources sector
- Payroll processing or support experience is desirable
- Proficiency Knowledge of SAP Success Factors or equivalent HR Information Systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential
- Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency. Temporary work visa holders are not eligible for this role.

About Yara
Construction of the Yara Pilbara Fertilisers Pty Ltd (YPFPL) AUD$-700 million liquid ammonia plant on the Burrup Peninsula, near Karratha in western Australia, began in 2003. Production started in April 2006, and the first export shipment was made from the Port of Dampier in June 2006.
The YPFPL liquid ammonia plant was the first industrial development to be established on the Burrup Peninsula following the State Government's $200m infrastructure investment, and represents one of the largest ammonia production facilities in the world.
