Westhill Services is a locally owned business servicing the mining sector. We pride ourselves on safety, values and delivering quality outcomes. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled Recruiter to join our Mackay Harbour office team.

About the Role

This is an office-based, part time role working 3 days per week, with flexible hours (for example, school hours). You will be responsible for sourcing, screening and onboarding skilled tradespeople and professionals to support our labour hire business.

What You Will Be Doing

Manage end-to-end recruitment across trades and technical roles

Write and post job ads across Seek, LinkedIn and social media platforms

Screen applications, conduct interviews and reference checks

Coordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding

Build and maintain talent pools for future projects

What We Are Looking For

Recruitment experience, ideally within trades, mining or labour hire

Confident communicator, especially over the phone and face to face (not just email)

Strong organisational and follow-up skills

Ability to work independently and make decisions

Confident using Microsoft Office and recruitment/job board systems
