We are seeking a dedicated physiotherapist who is passionate about helping clients achieve their rehabilitation goals through evidence-based practice and collaborative care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Practice
Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide hands-on treatment including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and therapeutic interventions
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation in compliance with professional standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including exercise physiologists and sports scientists
Client Care and Communication
Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients
Educate patients on their condition, treatment options, and self-management strategies
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and referring practitioners
Provide compassionate care with sensitivity to individual client needs
Professional Standards and Compliance
Maintain registration with AHPRA and adhere to professional practice standards
Ensure all clinical activities comply with healthcare regulations and privacy laws
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities
Maintain professional development requirements and continuing education
Working Conditions
Hours: 12 hours per week over 3 mornings
Initial Schedule:
Monday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform manual therapy techniques
Physical capability to assist clients with exercises and mobility
Professional presentation including adherence to uniform requirements
Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
Current registration with AHPRA
Australian citizenship OR permanent residency OR valid work visa with unrestricted work rights
Applicants must have existing legal right to work in Australia - visa sponsorship is not available
Minimum 2 years clinical experience
Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to evidence-based practice
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
Working with Children Check (if treating pediatric clients)
Desirable Qualifications
Postgraduate qualifications in relevant specialty areas
Experience in musculoskeletal or sports physiotherapy
Manual therapy certifications
Experience working in private practice or rehabilitation settings
Knowledge of exercise prescription and gym-based rehabilitation
