We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CDP looking to join the well established Seafood restaurant love.fish, located at dynamic Barangaroo. Our focus and passion is Australian seafood and produce, with sustainability at the core of our business values. Located on the waterfront at vibrant Barangaroo, with an open kitchen you won’t get tired of the view this summer!

Your new role:

Reporting directly to our head & sous chefs, you will join a supportive team working with quality Australian seafood served in an approachable way.

We are seeking a candidate with the following -

Previous experience as a CDP within a high volume, quality focussed restaurant

Reliability, commitment & motivation, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under press

Interest in Australian seafood and a passion for provenance

A team player with good communication skills

Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

A minimum two years experience on fryer, pans & grill.

An eye for detail and good kitchen awareness

Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts

Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of kitchen sections – ensuring that high standards are met.

Ensuring all food health and safety guidelines and processes are followed.

Support on ensuring COGS and key performance metrics are met in the kitchen
