Distination venue in the heart of The Rocks (Sydney CBD) is looking for an emerging and energetic Chef de Partie to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef our Pizza and Grill Kitchen with high volume function trade

Key responsibilities for this exciting role would be:

Hands-on kitchen member, working independently with appropriate supervision

Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef 5 days per week including: a la cart, function prep and function cooking offerings all from single kitchen

Experienced in Pizza, Ribs, Grill and Canape menus

Displays great work ethic and want to progress to next level Sous Chef in good time

Adhere to robust food safety programs to ensure high standards of cleanliness, storage and organisation within the kitchen at all times. Ensure effective stock rotation and minimise wastage

Strict adherence to NSW Food and Safety Regulations, including FSS accreditation

Qualification and Experience

At least 1 year experience as a Chef de Partie in similar type of business in Australia

Qualified Chef

Food Safety Supervisor accreditation

Food Safety Supervisor training will be provided for successful candidates

HACCP qualifications preferred
