About the role

Ballarat Leagues Club is seeking an enthusiastic Front of House team member to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this casual position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patrons in a friendly and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar customer-facing role within the hospitality industry.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming customers upon arrival

Assisting customers with menu selections and orders

Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely manner

Clearing and resetting tables efficiently

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the dining areas

Responding to customer queries and complaints with professionalism and care

Supporting the team in other duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, such as waitstaff or bartender

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask

Friendly, courteous and professional demeanour

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Food and beverage service certification (desirable)
