We're Hiring – Chef

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency.

Duties Include:

Plan menus and estimate food and labor costs alongside the head chef

Order food supplies and manage inventory levels efficiently.

Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

Discuss food preparation and service with Managers and collaborate with the team.

Demonstrate cooking techniques and practice a high standard of food preparation procedures

Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients to a high standard

Explain and enforce hygiene and safety regulations

May oversee the freezing and preserving of foods to maintain freshness

Requirement.

Proven experience in a similar role.

Relevant qualifications.

Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment

Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor junior staff where required

at least three years of experience in a similar role required.

Position Details:

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hours: 38 hours per week

Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum (based on experience) plus superannuation.
