About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Housing Advice Officer to provide personalised accommodation advice to all students and build key external relationships with ECU’s on campus accommodation provider and community organisations. The role will provide advice and support for students living in private/rental accommodation and assist with tenancy difficulties. In addition, the role will manage the ECU Accommodation Listings website, promote ECU’s on campus accommodation, develop and maintain relevant resources, deliver housing workshops and disseminate current industry information for staff and students.
We are looking for someone who has a background and experience in housing support and case management for individuals, who is self-motivated and can develop creative housing initiatives. You must be a problem-solver who can think outside the box with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build and nurture long term relationships by being visible in the community for ECU Student Life.
