Location: Bentley, WA (travel weekly to regional & remote WA)

Work Type: Full Time | Permanent opportunity

Ready to take your electrical expertise into the field?

This is your chance to step away from the tools and into a role where you’ll apply your knowledge across WA’s most remote and vital communities.

As an Electrical Inspector, you’ll do more than just tick boxes - you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of consumer installations across regional WA. From carrying out inspections and audits, to investigating incidents and providing specialist guidance to electrical contractors, this is a role where your technical skills make a direct impact on community safety.

And yes - there’s travel. Weekly journeys to remote communities mean you won’t be stuck in the same four walls. Instead, you’ll experience the vast and unique landscapes of WA, meet different people every week, and take your skills to places few electricians ever get to go.

Why You’ll Love This Role

Career shift – Move from hands-on work into technical oversight and compliance, building your career as a designated Electrical Inspector.

Advisory impact – Share your expertise with electrical contractors and industry professionals to ensure installations meet standards and protect communities.

Tech-driven work – Use iPads and digital tools daily to complete inspections and reports - keeping you connected and efficient on the go.

Professional pride – Apply your deep knowledge of Australian Standards and WA electrical requirements (WAER) compliance in a role that keeps the consumers installation complaint and safe.

What We’re Looking For

• WA Licensed Electrician with solid experience across domestic, commercial, and/or industrial sectors is essential.

• Strong knowledge of Standards and Regulations (and the ability to translate these into your inspection routine).

• Self-starter who can work independently while travelling regularly.

• Comfortable with weekly regional travel - embracing variety and the chance to see WA beyond the metro area.

• Eligibility to be designated as an Inspector (Electrical) is essential.

The Benefits

• Base Rate $127.5K + $10,000 travel allowance + prepaid overtime + 13.5% superannuation

• Ongoing training and development to support your transition into inspection and compliance

• A role with purpose - protecting community safety across WA’s most remote areas
