SGC Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Perth-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact mining projects, with a role that’s 90% office-based and includes occasional site travel.

The Role Includes:

Electrical design for mining applications – LV, HV & instrumentation

Performing load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection

Reviewing and approving drawings, technical submissions, and calculations

Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and fabrication workshops

Preparing key project documentation: ITPs, commissioning records, MDRs, and more

We’re Looking For:

Bachlor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

Proven experience in electrical design for mining applications (LV, HV, and instrumentation)

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and relevant design tools (highly desirable)

Understanding of power distribution systems, MCCs, and switchgear

Commissioning experience (balanced machines/site exposure is a plus)
