Key Responsibilities

As the 2IC / Senior Medical Receptionist, you will:

Support the Practice Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth team workflow

Lead by example in providing a warm and professional front-of-house experience

Supervise and mentor reception staff, offering training and guidance where needed

Coordinate with clinical staff to maintain efficient patient flow

Handle escalated patient enquiries and complex administrative issues with empathy

Oversee administrative tasks and practice correspondence, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met

Required Skills & Qualities

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Previous medical reception experience (essential)

Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and supervise a small team

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Confident use of technology and Best Practice management software

A commitment to ongoing professional development

Position Details

Full-time role – 38 hours per week

Monday: 8:45am– 5:15pm

Tuesday: 8:45am – 4:15pm

Wednesday: 8:45am– 5:15pm

Thursday: 8:45am– 5:15pm

Friday: 8:45am – 4:15pm

Start Date: November 2025
