Smart Cookies Early Learning Centre is a family-owned and operated service with over 10 years of experience in the early childhood sector. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality education and care for children aged 9 months to 6 years, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Director to lead our wonderful 34-place service in Beecroft NSW.

This is a rewarding opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you'll work closely with a supportive management team to drive high-quality outcomes for children, families, and educators.

About the Role

As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance, supporting educators, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and mentoring a team of passionate educators

Driving continuous improvement and quality practice in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF)

Ensuring delivery of a high-quality educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory, WHS, and child protection requirements

Building strong, collaborative partnerships with families and the community

Managing enrolments, Child Care Subsidy (CCS) compliance, budgets, and the overall performance of the centre

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Director or Nominated Supervisor

Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved) or equivalent

Current certifications in First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection

Deep understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law & Regulations, EYLF, NQS, and CCS

Proven leadership skills and ability to support, develop and inspire a team

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Good time management skills and able to work with minimum supervision using own initiatives

Experience with Assessment & Rating would be highly regarded

Commitment to child safety, inclusive practices, and building a positive centre culture
