The role:

This full-time Administration/Payroll Assistant position offers an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Technical Maintenance Support, based in Geraldton, Western Australia. As an integral member of the Administration & Office Support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the business.

Duties and responsibilities for the role:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Management and broader team

Manage and maintain various administrative systems and databases

Provide support to the senior Payroll officer, inclusive of creating payroll runs themselves and send to responsible Manager for approval.

Handle a wide range of administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document preparation

Assist with the coordination of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements

Contribute to the development and implementation of office procedures and practices

Act as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries

Perform other ad hoc duties as required to support the efficient running of the office

What we're looking for:

Proven experience as an Administrative/Payroll Assistant or in a similar administrative role

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment

National Police check

Hours of work 8am to 5pm, Mon to Fri
