Centacare Family Services are currently seeking expressions of interest to fill the position of Payroll & Finance Officer.

This part-time opportunity involves supporting the smooth processing of fortnightly payroll, as well as providing general financial assistance.

This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week, with a flexible working schedule which can be negotiated.

A remuneration package based on the SCHCADS Award 2010 will be offered based on skills and experience; level 4.1 of $44.58/hour plus, superannuation and salary packaging options.

Selection Criteria: Qualifications

Formal qualification or substantial professional experience in accounts administration or payroll administration, or an appropriate relevant degree.

Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and superannuation administration

Proficiency in MYOB software

Demonstrated problem-solving skills in payroll or administrative contexts

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately

Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Capacity to effectively work within the philosophy and ethos of Centacare

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Proven ability to manage time and prioritise tasks efficiently
