About the Role
We are seeking an experienced detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Administrator who is experienced with SAP GUI to join our finance team. This role is responsible for month end closing processes, journal entries, accruals as well as end to end AP and AR functions.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic account principles with strong organisational and communication skills, and experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Accounts Administration including processing employee expense claims, reconciling corporate credit cards, assist in month end processing, journal entries and accruals. Maintains vendor master data in SAP.
Lead the Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations.
Lead the Accounts Receivable function, including customer account management, timely banking allocations, and account reconciliations.
Provide accounting and administrative support to the finance team both locally and in Austria
Assists in annual auditing processes.
Qualifications and Experience
Certificate III in Accounting or other relevant accounting qualification preferred, though not essential.
Proficiency in SAP (SAP GUI experience is essential).
Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience, ideally in a busy corporate environment, with exposure to general accounting and accounts payable functions.
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, and general accounting principles.
Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform reconciliations and work with spreadsheets efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have full working rights in Australia.
