About You:
We are looking for an OTC Manager who is warm, caring, loyal, well organised and always looking to enhance their skills and those of their staff. You have leadership qualities, a passion for working with the team, growing the business, engaging and building meaningful connections with customers and providing excellent advice and service.

The Role
Leading and managing the Front of Shop Team
Reporting directly to Pharmacist Manager
Engaging with and maintaining customer relationships
Proactive in selling and offering promotions to customers
Taking responsibility for managing special orders
Establishing and maintaining high standards and accuracy in stock management, buying practices, store presentation (including merchandising) and admin tasks
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to optimise product placement and maximise sales.
Coordinate with pharmacy staff to ensure shelves are properly stocked and visually appealing.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits to identify any discrepancies.
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favourable pricing and terms for purchasing pharmaceutical products and other items.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stay updated on industry trends and new product launches.
Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement or expansion.
Stay informed about regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in all purchasing and merchandising activities.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotions.
Be able to serve customers and meet their enquiries by applying S2/S3 knowledge acquired through work and qualifications.
The Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience as Senior Pharmacy Assistant (management experience preferred)
Proven open minded can-do attitude to implementing changes and improvements in customer service
Demonstrated well organised and accurate approach to utilising and introducing new systems and processes for customer benefit
Proven leadership, teamwork and customer relations skills
Proven self motivated drive and resilience
Evidence of creating a culture of learning and helping others in the team especially to create a culture of positivity and innovation in customer service
