Adecco are seeking a Precast Concrete Finisher to join our clients team. In this role, you will apply specialized finishing techniques to precast concrete products, ensuring surfaces meet design specifications, quality standards, and aesthetic requirements. You will support production efficiency, quality assurance, and the development of junior team members within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Strip forms, clean release agents, and prepare cast units for finishing

Apply hand-float, power-float, steel-trowel, edging, grinding, sanding, and polishing techniques

Patch minor surface defects and ensure finishes meet quality and dimensional tolerances

Perform final inspections and document finish quality

Maintain and calibrate finishing tools and equipment

Mentor and support junior finishers and contribute to on-the-job training

Identify process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce rework

Assist with mold upkeep, minor repairs, shipping, loading, and site-preparation tasks as required

Follow all WHS policies, maintain PPE, and ensure clean and safe work areas

• Shift times from 10:00AM - 8:00PM, Monday - Friday.
• Coordinate finishing schedules with formwork and production teams

Your Profile

Certificate III in Formwork / Concrete Precast Finishing or equivalent trade qualification (essential)

Class C Driver’s License (essential)

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a precast concrete finisher in manufacturing or civil-precast environments

Advanced training in decorative concrete finishes or specialized surface treatments (desirable)

Strong knowledge of concrete properties, curing, and finishing materials

Proficiency with hand and power trowels, grinders, sanders, and polishers

Attention to detail and commitment to defect-free quality

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and finish schedules

Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods
