We deliver high-quality onsite support for underground projects, ensuring safe and efficient installations and services for our clients, while also supplying a range of fabricated products for use in underground mine settings.

We currently have vacancies for Concreters / Form Workers, Pump operators for our projects crew operating at Carrapateena Mine (South Australia) and are seeking experienced individuals to join our growing team.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Supervisor, our Concreters are an essential part of the Underground Projects Crew and play a key role in delivering critical underground services, including the installation & maintenance of:

Pneumatic high pressure vent doors

Vent brattices & DBRs

Concrete pads & civils

Finger pass grizzly & panels

Mine dewatering infrastructure

Vent on demand

Mine services installations

Underground mine infrastructure & construction, and more

Operation of Jacon S45 Concrete Line Pump

When not performing specific concreting tasks, team members are expected to assist with other project-related activities. This may include general site preparation, equipment maintenance, material handling, or supporting other crew members in the installation and maintenance of underground infrastructure.

What We Are Looking For

We value experience, but we’re also committed to training motivated individuals with the right attitude.

Key requirements include:

Concreter / Form worker: Experience with Jacon S45 concrete pump highly regarded

Previous experience in underground mining, particularly in underground infrastructure installations

Handheld airleg experience is not essential but highly regarded

Basic rigging or dogmans ticket is highly regarded

CN Franna 20T ticket highly regarded

Excavator Ticket Highly Regarded.

Proficiency in operating integrated tool carriers and light vehicles in an underground environment

Experience installing steel pipework underground

Essential Requirements: ,C-Class Driver’s License, and current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one)

Work Readiness: Physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical, functional assessment, and drug and alcohol screening

Safety Focus: A proven track record of adhering to safety systems and maintaining high standards in quality of work and housekeeping
