The Role

We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our dedicated team of professionals to assist in providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services to an extensive range of business clients and high net worth individuals.

You may either be a recent graduate, or undergraduate studying an accounting degree. This role serves as a foundational step toward becoming a skilled Senior Accountant in your own right. If you possess strong communication skills, work ethic and a passion for continual learning, we're committed to nurturing your growth into a proficient well rounded accountant.

Competitive Salary

Key Responsibilities

· Assist/Prepare financial statements & tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships & SMSF

· Assist/Prepare BAS/IAS returns

· Engage with the ATO and other regulatory bodies

· Ensure compliance with tax & financial obligations & deadlines are actively managed

Skills, qualifications and experience

· 1+ years' experience in a Chartered/CPA firm (preferred but not essential for right candidate)

· Currently studying or intending to study for CA/CPA

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· An enthusiastic attitude and strong attention to detail

· Strong problem-solving skills and desire to make a positive impact for their clients

· Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
