An established and forward-thinking accounting firm is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager/Supervisor to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of technical work, client engagement, and team leadership.

About the Role

In this role, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients—including SMEs, family groups, and high-net-worth individuals—while mentoring junior staff and contributing to advisory work. You’ll work closely with Partners and Managers, helping deliver high-quality outcomes across tax, compliance, and advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for various entities

Oversee compliance workflows and manage key deadlines

Advise on various tax matters (CGT, FBT, GST, Div 7A PSI, trust distributions)

Supervise and review work of junior and graduate accountants

Serve as main point of client contact

Contribute to tax and business advisory projects such as restructuring, tax planning and succession planning

About You

CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)

minimum 4+ years’ experience in Australian public practice

Strong communication skills
