Project Manager – Power Generation Project Team

Generator Power (Australia) is a subsidiary of HIMOINSA and integral member of the Yanmar group of companies in Australia. Our business involves the supply & installation of diesel and gas generators for a diverse range of markets all supported by our successful service and rental divisions.

An exciting new opportunity for a qualified Project Manager with 2 years experience to join and assist our Projects team. Reporting to the Project Director and based in our Revesby, Sydney Office, the position will entail the following main functions:

Technical and financial planning, controlling, delegating, client liaison, negotiation and communication with clients for industrial and commercial projects.

Coordinating Generator Power employees for workshop and site installation work.

Financial management and reporting of projects including accurate forecasting.

Technical design including electrical and mechanical systems associated with generator installations including liaising with the technical team.

Procurement of equipment including liaising with sub-contractors and manufacturers.

WHS documentation for project installation works including installation methodologies and safe work method statements. WHS management, including all documentation required for project site inductions

Programming, scheduling, and co-ordination of works in line with the construction program.

Monthly invoicing of completed project works including progress payments.

Assisting in Estimating and tendering for project installations.

Attention to meeting budgetary requirements for Company related project business.

The successful candidate will;

Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in a similar role

Be highly organised with a strong ability to work under pressure.

Have excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

Have experience maintaining safety standards, and risk minimisation.

Possess the ability to pivot between working autonomously and being part of a team

Experience with Project Management
