About the Role

Disability Connect is seeking a hands-on Service Manager to lead and oversee our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes in the Toowoomba region. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader with proven experience in the NDIS space and SILs to make a meaningful impact while working within a supportive and progressive organisation.

As Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

Overseeing day-to-day operations of multiple SIL homes.

Coaching, supporting and developing frontline teams.

Ensuring high-quality, person-centred support aligned to NDIS standards.

Maintaining compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Building strong relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.

Managing staff rosters and ensuring adequate coverage, including after-hours on-call responsibilities.

Leveraging your professional networks for staff referrals and talent pipelines.

Negotiating effectively with stakeholders (participants, families, and external agencies) to achieve positive outcomes.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on being present with staff and participants—not just behind a desk. You’ll be the problem-solver, mentor, and quality driver who sets the tone for great service delivery.
