About the Role
As a Field Sales Representative, you’ll take ownership of a key territory, working closely with established distributors, trade stores, and specialist contractors. Your focus will be on driving sales, developing market share, and supporting long-term relationships across a diverse client base that includes pool builders, plumbers, irrigation specialists, and retailers.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven sales role that requires someone who can confidently engage at all levels, from trade counter staff to business owners, and influence decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow sales across an established network of distributors, contractors, and specialist trade partners.
Build strong, long-lasting relationships with stakeholders including pool builders, plumbers, irrigation contractors, and water management professionals.
Deliver proactive sales support through site visits, product training, and promotional activities.
Identify opportunities to expand market presence and implement effective sales strategies.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customers receive exceptional support and service.
About You
We’re seeking a proactive and driven sales professional who thrives in the field and can combine commercial acumen with outstanding communication skills.
To succeed, you will ideally have:
Proven field sales experience, preferably within trade distribution or agency sales environments.
A background in pools, plumbing, irrigation, or water management (preferred but not essential if you’re quick to learn technical products).
Demonstrated success engaging with distributors, contractors, and trade-based customers.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and close.
A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A current driver’s licence and the flexibility to travel within your territory.
What’s on Offer
Attractive base salary $90,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience)
