About the role:

You will support the Communications Manager in delivering strategic media and public information campaigns.

• Plan, develop and evaluate communication strategies that promote organisational objectives
• Manage media responses in operational and emergency contexts
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging
• Contribute to community engagement and public awareness initiatives
• Assist in team coordination and support broader communications functions

About you:

You are a media-savvy communicator with a strong understanding of government and public sector environments.

• Degree-qualified in Media, Communications, Public Relations or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a fast-paced media or communications role
• Exposure to emergency or operational communications highly regarded
• Strong writing, editing and stakeholder engagement skills
• Team-oriented with a collaborative and adaptable approach
