Highly respected and busy Tier 1 builder are looking for a Project Engineer to join the team working on a $600 mil commercial/ industrial build.

The company undertake projects in a variety of sectors including industrial, health, commercial, rail and large CBD jobs up to $1 bil and work with a lot of repeat clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders)
• Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues
• Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget
• Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers
• Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Site Manager on projects over $50 mil
• Proven experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 builder.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
• Reliable references
• Must already be in Australia to be considered for this role
• Experience working on commercial type projects within Australia
