Our client is a Tier 1 Electrical contractor who are in growth stages and are securing a number of projects nationally and one is a major Infrastructure project based in Coffs Harbour

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Engineer will manage the overall coordination and planning of this infrastructure project, This is a site based role in Coffs Harbour which involves overseeing project progress and ensuring milestones are met.

Duties:

Manage the development phases of the infrastructure project,

Coordinate with external consultants who are responsible for the hands-on execution of the project.

Track and report project progress, ensuring it aligns with timelines, budget, and quality standards.

Assist in preparing project contracts, ensuring that all terms and conditions are clearly defined; whilst monitoring contractor and vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and timelines.

Ensure the accurate completion of project deliverables and compliance with technical specifications.

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management on milestones, risks, and potential challenges.

Prepare, review, and ensure compliance of project documentation, including regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.

To be successful you will need to have the below requirements:

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Contractor-side experience preferred.

Strong understanding of project management processes and procedures.

Experience coordinating technical projects with external consultants or contractors.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Strong administrative skills including competency with MS Word, Excel

A current unrestricted Australian Driver’s License
