About the role

benny's is looking for experienced full time and part time/casual chefs to join our talented culinary team at our flagship restaurant in Cronulla, NSW. As a chef de partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious dishes that showcase the best of local and seasonal produce. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant and creative kitchen environment where you can develop your skills and expertise.

What you'll be doing

Preparing, cooking and presenting a variety of dishes to our high standards

Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient meal service

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

Assisting with menu development and plating presentation

Adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices

Participating in team meetings and training sessions

What we're looking for

Formal culinary qualification or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen as an advantage but not a requirement

Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment

Excellent food preparation and cooking skills with an eye for detail

Strong time management and multitasking abilities

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients and creating innovative dishes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
