Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Estimator to join their dynamic, close-knit team in the insurance building space. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in a business that values flexibility, autonomy, and a strong work-life balance.
In this role, you'll estimate and compile damage reports for a range of residential construction and insurance-related projects. You’ll typically be allocated 4–5 jobs per day and have the flexibility to work from home or the office, depending on what suits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately estimate and compile damages for residential insurance building projects
• Complete and upload detailed reports, photos, and scope of works into Prime and various insurer platforms
• Manage 4–5 jobs per day, meeting KPI requirements
• Liaise with clients, insurers, and trades to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Work flexibly - Typical working week - 3 days on the road / 2 days in-office
• Maintain compliance with building codes and standards
• Assist with future recruitment within the estimating team

What You’ll Need | Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an insurance estimator (or relevant carpentry/building qualification if less)
• Solid understanding of current building codes and standards
• Familiarity with Prime Ecosystem and ENData software (preferred)
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Resi background is essential
• Full, valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently and in a small, agile team

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working on CAT events
• Experience working with KPI driven environments
• Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced setting
• Background in small or large insurance builders welcome
