Full-Time or Part-Time Electrical Estimator – Premium Residential Projects | $100K–$150K + Super | Burwood

Our client is a well-established, premium electrical and automation provider specialising in high-end new residential builds across Melbourne. With a growing pipeline of work and a reputation for quality and precision, they are now seeking a Electrical Estimator to take the lead on quoting, manual plan markups, and procurement coordination.
You’ll work directly with the Director and their consultant from a light-filled office in Burwood, supported by clear systems and an approachable team. With flexible hours and a WFH arrangement open to negotiation, this is a rare opportunity to join a company where your experience and initiative will be genuinely valued.

About the Role:

• Quote high-end residential projects using SimPRO, Ground Plan and Excel
• Mark up electrical plans manually based on builder specs and client selections
• Forecast material needs, raise purchase orders, and coordinate procurement
• Track scope, monitor variations and ensure accurate margin control
• Maintain pricing databases and templates for ongoing accuracy
• Report directly to the Director and act as the key in-house estimating expert

Projects & Clients:

• Custom new builds for boutique Melbourne builders
• Project values from $30K to $150K (average $45K)
• Work with reputable builders

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years’ experience in electrical estimating (any sector – residential, commercial or industrial)
• Proficiency with SimPRO (non-negotiable), Ground Plan and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to read and interpret electrical plans
• Calm, organised and able to work independently without micromanagement
• Bonus if you have qualifications in electrical, estimating or project management
• Must have Australian industry experience
