As the Architect Development Manager, you will build and manage partnerships with architects in National Australia. The core objective is to increase the relevance and awareness of the company's product solutions and help convert more projects to include them. The role involves acting as a trusted advisor, guiding partners on designs and opportunities from the initial concept to final installation.

This position is based in Sydney but requires regular travel across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a plan to establish and nurture partnerships with the Architecture community

Proactively manage accounts through engaging meetings focused on inspiring and educating them on design and product guidance

Represent the company at conferences and events, and organise seminars for architects

Champion the principles of Sustainable Building Practices

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project management and handover

Create a sustainable network by engaging with architecture universities and societies

Travel 10-20% of time across Australia to maintain and develop partnerships

Skills and Experience

Experience as an architect is essential, as you must understand the world and daily life of an architect and be able to engage on their terms

Minimum 3-5 years of architectural practice experience required

Ability to engage and conduct presentations with confidence and charisma

A passion for sustainable building design and improving the lives and spaces created

The ideal candidate is autonomous, structured, and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport and trust

A sales mindset to ensure design solutions are a fit for clients and customers
