Located in the northern suburbs of Perth our clients are a rapidly growing and highly successful 400 staff company within the construction, Mining services and rail industries.

Due to growth the CFO would now like to add to the successful finance team with the addition of a project Accountant which will be a FIFO position from Perth to Karratha.

The vacancy:

Maintenance of the financial records of the company and ongoing projects

Preparation of regular Financial Reports to management & the Board (particularly weekly AR, AP & Cashflow forecast reports)

Primary point of contact with our external accountants

Delivery of month end accounts and monthly management report preparation

taxation & compliance matters

preparation of end of financial year reports and audit reviews

Primary point of contact for the company banking relationships

Budgets for major projects

Site based FIFO from Perth role (70 KM from karratha)

To apply:

Have 3 or more years experience in Australia as a management, financial or project Accountant.

Ideally be CA/CPA part or fully qualified

Hold excellent communication skills

Be able to demonstrate good time management

Want a long - term position

Experienced with MYOB or XERO software

Excellent leadership skills and experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

Must have permanent right to work in Australia

Previous experience in construction, mining, or rail industries highly regarded

Willing to commit to a FIFO role 2/1

In return:

A salary of between $155,000 to $165,000 + Super
