The Role
This is a 12 month contract for an experienced Financial Accountant supporting the organisation across their tax compliance and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and lodge BAS on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Assist with income tax calculations and year-end tax returns
• Complete Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) return
• Support year-end accounting processes in line with tax requirements
• Review compliance work and provide accounting advice to the wider organisation
• Support the preparation of annual and half-year statutory reports
• Ensure accuracy and compliance across all reporting requirements
• Support ad hoc accounting and financial projects as required

About You

• CA/CPA qualified with relevant experience in tax and financial accounting
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards
• Previous exposure to large corporate or property environments desirable
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
