XRF Scientific is a global supplier of high-quality laboratory products, with locations across Australia, Canada, Belgium and Germany. A new opportunity exists for an experienced Group Accountant to join the team at our Head Office in Osborne Park.

About the role:

Reporting to the CFO, this role will offer you the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting responsibilities while contributing to process and system improvements that drive the success of the group. Tasks will include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts

Reconciliation of intercompany accounts

Preparation of reports for monthly BAS returns

Oversee accounts payable, receivable & payroll functions

Assisting the CFO with preparation of Annual and Interim Financial Reports in accordance with accounting standards & ASX reporting requirements

Support coordination of the audit process and act as a point of contact for the group’s external audit team

Act as backup/support for the wider finance team as required

What we’re looking for:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent), or progress towards obtaining a qualification

Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines

High attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

Pronto experience will be highly regarded

Prior experience with perpetual inventory systems within a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
