What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own and evolve core accounting processes: reconciliations, month-end close, reporting, and compliance.
• The go-to on systems projects: Accounts payable automation and accounting system upgrades.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data teams, operations, and product specialists on new products and processes, identifying accounting requirements and building fit for purpose solutions.
• Payroll processing and management of company expense claim platform (Expensify).
• Develop accounting policies and controls to support global audit and licensing requirements.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting as we mature our finance function.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who brings a mix of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and start-up grit. You must have:

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
• Degree & CA qualifications.
• Strong audit background with a solid understanding of governance and controls.
• Commercial experience in a start-up or high-growth environment and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliations and core financial operations.
• Exposure or interest in crypto, fintech, or digital assets (a major plus!).
• Experience with automation tools, transformation projects or accounting platform rollouts.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where initiative is key.
