In this role, you will work autonomously to manage accounting processes, ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality financial services to clients. The role involves preparing financial statements and tax returns, applying tax compliance knowledge, and supporting a variety of accounting tasks across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilise your knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement analysis to support a diverse range of clients.

Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, Payroll Processing, and Land Tax.

Apply knowledge of emerging accounting issues, accounting software systems (e.g., Xero), and changing rules/regulations for tax compliance.

Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and management accounting

Work closely with the team to ensure accuracy in the application of GST, capital gains tax, and other indirect taxes.

Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment

About You:

5 years’ + experience in business advisory

CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion)

Strong communication and tech skills (Excel, Xero, etc.)

Highly organised with a keen eye for detail

A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and client interaction.
