I have partnered with a large Accounting Firm based in Sydney CBD, with Partners from Mid Tier backgrounds that invest heavily into the growth of the business and the people within it. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Intermediate or a Senior Accountant to take a step up in their career!

About The Role:

• Preparation of Tax Returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals across a wide range of industries, including Ultra High Net Worth Family Groups, Large Corporates, ASX Listed Clients and Multinational Organisation.
• Preparation of Financial Statements and Month End Reports.
• Reviewing the work of Graduate Accountants, playing a pivotal role in their development with review points, queries and training.
• Attending tax planning meetings with the Managers and Partners and gaining valuable hands on experience to high level discussions.
• Assisting with software implementations and queries.
• Working on project accounting where required for clients across a wide range of matters.

About You:

• 3+ years' experience in Public Practice Accounting within an Australian Firm.
• CA or CPA Qualified or studying towards this.
• Exposure to a wide range of tax matters including Capital Gains Tax and Division 7a loans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to translate complex financials into easy to follow advice that delivers a big impact to stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and high standard of work.
• Enthusiastic and personable with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
• Eager to progress with a big focus on professional development.
